Underfloor Heating

Underfloor Heating Systems

There are two types of underfloor heating systems we can install, both electric and ones that run from your central heating boiler.

Wet systems – comprises of pipes under your flooring to heat the area, These can be installed in new or existing spaces both to solid and wooden flooring. We specialize in John guest systems as a well establish manufacture using UK standard sized pipe and fittings, meaning it is fully future proof where any alterations or repairs are required.

A lot of underfloor systems available are non-UK standard sizes, resulting in any future problems being very difficult to repair. These systems can be installed in any new or existing central heating system, and where our more advance hot water system is used (see our solar and how water pages), water supplying the underfloor system can be heated via alternative sources to make it very efficient.

Electric Systems

Electric systems – compromises of small cables laid under the floor to heat the area, as with wet systems can be installed in various situations. They are a very attractive system in tiles bathroom and similar to take the chill of the cold floor in the winter months.

In all underfloor systems, we recommend that the floor is correctly insulated to ensure the heat is not lost through the ground, we can recommend and install these are part of the project.
