What are the different types of boilers?

There are three main domestic types of boilers, Combination Boilers (Combi), System Boilers and Regular Boilers. When we visit someone's home who is looking at having a new boiler, we will be able to recommend the best and most suitable type of boiler for your property.

Combi Boilers

Combi is short for Combination Boiler, and this is the most compact out of different types of boilers. It generates both heating and water. These types of boilers are typically wall mounted, and there is no need for a separate hot water tank.

System Boilers

System Boilers need a hot water cylinder unlike a common boiler they don't need a cold water tank.

Regular Boiler

Conventional Boilers are commonly known as a regular or heat only boiler. These types of boilers have a water tank.

They heat up your radiators directly and connect to a seperate cylinder or tank to provide hot water.
